Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Supervisor of Safety and Quality
Job Duties & Responsibilities: Registered Nurse (RN) – Supervisor of Safety and Quality
- Monitors and investigates known or suspected sources of infections in order to determine the source and contain outbreak in the clinical setting.
- Maintain compliance with national standards and regulatory agencies
- Evaluates sterilization and disinfection methods and recommends changes as needed
- Serve as a knowledgeable and available resource on infection control practices and policies to patients, providers and staff.
- Conducts environmental rounds in all clinical areas. Evaluates the effectiveness of the surveillance plan and modifies as necessary.
Education & Experience: Registered Nurse (RN) – Supervisor of Safety and Quality
- RN program degree
- Current valid state medical license
- 1+ years’ experience a must!
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or specialty certification as required by department.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
