Growing Oncology Practice is searching for a Oncologist Physician (MD/DO) in Norwich, NY to join their practice. Hematology a plus! Work M-F, limited call. Make $400K-$425K+ depending on experience! Position Title: Oncologist Physician (MD / DO) - Oncology
Job Duties & Responsibilities: Oncologist Physician (MD / DO) – Oncology
- Diagnosing, treating, and helping patients manage illnesses
- Conducting physical examinations and interpreting medical history
- Ordering and performing diagnostic tests and procedures
- Prescribing pharmacologic treatments (depends on state regulation)
- Providing screening services
- Some primary and specialty care services for adults and children
- Counseling and educating patients
- An Oncology Physician specializes in the treatment and diagnoses of patients in a wide age range from pediatrics to the elderly.
Education & Experience: Oncologist Physician (MD / DO) – Oncology
- Current valid state medical license
- Medical degree from accredited program
- Board Certified or Board Certified Eligible
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or specialty certification as required by department.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
