Position Title: Full Time - Family Physician Assistant (PA)
Job Duties & Responsibilities: Family Physician Assistant (PA)
- Diagnosing, treating, and helping patients manage acute and chronic illnesses
- Conducting physical examinations and interpreting medical history
- Ordering and performing diagnostic tests and procedures
- Prescribing pharmacologic treatments (depends on state regulation)
- Primary and specialty care services for adults and children
- Performing minor surgeries and procedures
- Counseling and educating patients about preventive measures to avoid illness
Education & Experience: Family Physician Assistant (PA)
- Master in PA program degree
- Current valid Texas Medical License
- Board Certified PA
- 2+ year’s experience in Outpatient Family Practice setting required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or specialty certification required.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Spanish speaking a plus
- Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
