Leading Rehabilitation Group is searching for an Upper Extremity Occupational Therapist (OT) Rehabilitation Specialist in Portland, OR. This position is with a private group focusing on upper extremity rehabilitation and coordinating various clinical trials. Salary is $70K-$80K DOE! Work M-F. No weekends or call. 1+ years of experience as an OT preferred. Experience with upper limbs and/or research studies preferred. Occupational Therapist (OT) must be a highly enthusiastic, professional, compassionate therapist who loves to help people achieve their developmental milestones and goals!
Position Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Job Duties & Responsibilities: Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Participate in the development and periodic revision of the plan of care
- Schedules, plans activities and provides rehabilitative services for occupational therapy
- Records type of treatment and patient’s reaction to it on clinical/progress notes, which are written on the day of the visit and incorporated in the patient’s record weekly.
- Maintains adequate records on all patient’s, including summary reports- Utilizes community resources and Agency personnel for proper referral- Selects and administers diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and materials
- Instructs and counsels other health team personnel and family members in methods of assisting patient in improving, correcting, and accepting his/her disabilities
- Attends case conferences as requested
- Participates in staff development activities and in-service education as requested
- Participate in research
Education & Experience: Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an Accredited Program
- Current Oregon OT license
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
