Leading and Innovative Primary Care Practice Group is searching for a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Bethesda, MD. Work fulltime M-F 4 days week! No call or Weekends! Make $110K-$140K+. Provider will work both in an outpatient setting and also via telemedicine. 2+ year family/primary/urgent care exp and DC license required! Candidate will provide advanced nursing care to patients with conditions ranging from basic to chronic healthcare. Providers to work independently or alongside a supervising physician.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Diagnosing, treating, and helping patients manage acute and chronic illnesses
- Conducting physical examinations and interpreting medical history
- Ordering and performing diagnostic tests and procedures
- Prescribing age-specific physical therapy and rehabilitation
- Prescribing pharmacologic treatments (depends on state regulation)
- Providing prenatal care, family planning services, and screening services
- Primary and specialty care services for adults and children
- Performing minor surgeries and procedures
- Counseling and educating patients about preventive measures to avoid illness
A Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializes in the treatment and diagnoses of patients in a wide age range, from childhood to the elderly.
Education & Experience: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Master of Science in Nursing or equivalent PA program degree
- Current valid DC medical license
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or PA
- 2+ years experience in the applied specialty required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or specialty certification as required by department.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
