Growing National Non-profit, Christian Psychiatric Mental Health Ministry needs a fulltime Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Wheaton, IL. Opportunity to earn $110K-$150K+ per year. Fully backed up with a competent staff, including a personal assistant to help you handle and grow your patient load. Provider will work Telemedicine initially with flexible schedule, until Covid19 becomes more under control, then transition into Clinical work – with combination of both is goal for the long run – very flexible schedule.
Position Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Job Duties & Responsibilities: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Performs medical/ psychiatric assessments.
- Performs medical evaluations of new clients upon admission and performs psychiatric evaluations as needed.
- Provides weekly consultations with clients.
- Responsible for Medication Management.
- Responsible for providing medications according to approved formulary.
- Detail to proper charting of session and contacting insurance companies for OTR’s and authorizations is critical.
- High accuracy in coding and other billing information.
Education & Experience: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Graduate of a Baccalaureate degree, and a specialty as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- 1+ year psychiatric experience is preferred.
- Advanced practice degree ( PMHNP )
- Certification with ANCC or ANA
- Must have an Illinois license as an APRN/PMHMP
