Growing Primary Care and Internal Medicine Group is searching for a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Clinton, MD for a full-time position at their state of the art clinic. Make $105K-120K DOE! Out-patient only. Work M-F. Call one Saturday morning a month. Must have either Internal Medicine or Primary Care experience as an NP/PA. Candidate will provide advanced care to patients of all ages.
Position Summary: Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Job Duties & Responsibilities: Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Diagnosing, treating, and helping patients manage acute and chronic illnesses
- Conducting physical examinations and interpreting medical history
- Ordering and performing diagnostic tests and procedures
- Prescribing age-specific physical therapy and rehabilitation
- Prescribing pharmacologic treatments (depends on state regulation)
- Performing minor procedures
- Counseling and educating patients about preventive measures
Education & Experience: Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Board Certified PA or NP
- PA program degree
- Current valid state medical license
- 1+ years’ experience a must!
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or specialty certification as required by department.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
