Leading Allergy and Asthma Outpatient Practice would like to add a full time Allergy Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Allen, TX. Make $120K-$130K+ DOE! Required minimum 2+ year Allergy, or ENT experience and with DEA/NPI numbers. The Practice is focused on Allergy and Asthma Care. Work M-Th 7:30a-5p and Fri. 8a-3p with no weekends. Rotating call (once every 6 weeks). Full benefit package offered with Malpractice, Health Ins, CME, 3 weeks PTO, and more. Candidate will provide care through testing in a 100% outpatient setting under the direction of a physician and/or independently. Providers will see all ages.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: Allergy Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Diagnosing, treating, and helping patients manage acute and chronic allergies and breathing changes.
- Conducting physical examinations, testing, and interpreting medical history.
- Ordering and performing diagnostic tests and procedures
- Prescribing pharmacologic treatments (depends on state regulation)
- Counseling and educating patients about preventive measures to avoid illness
Both Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants specialize in the treatment and diagnoses of patients in a wide age range of illnesses including patients from childhood to the elderly.
Education & Experience: Allergy Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Master of Science in Nursing or equivalent PA program degree
- Current valid state medical license
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or PA
- 2+ years experience in the applied specialty preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or specialty certification as required by department.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
