Leading Oncology Group is searching for an experienced full time Oncology Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Cumming, GA. Make $97K-$120K+ Bonus DOE! Some travel between their Canton clinic and Cummings clinic. Work M-F 8a-5p. Competitive salary PLUS bonuses and PLUS generous weekend pay (optional). Oncology or Hematology experience a must! Candidate will provide advanced nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting under the direction of a physician and/or independently.
Position Summary: Oncology Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Job Duties & Responsibilities: Oncology Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Diagnosing, treating, and helping patients manage illnesses
- Conducting physical examinations and interpreting medical history
- Ordering and performing diagnostic tests and procedures
- Prescribing pharmacologic treatments (depends on state regulation)
- Providing screening services
- Some primary and specialty care services for adults and children
- Counseling and educating patients
A Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner specializes in the treatment and diagnoses of patients in a wide age range from 18 years of age to the elderly.
Education & Experience: Oncology Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- NP or PA program degree
- Current valid state medical license
- Board Certified PA or NP
- Oncology experience a must!
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or specialty certification as required by department.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
