Leading Oncology Group is searching for an experienced Hematology / Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Stockbridge, GA. Work M-F 8a-5p. Make $97K-$120K+ DOE PLUS bonuses and PLUS generous weekend pay (optional). Hematology / Oncology experience a must! Candidate will provide advanced nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting under the direction of a physician and/or independently.
Position Title: Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Job Duties & Responsibilities: Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Diagnosing, treating, and helping patients manage illnesses
- Conducting physical examinations and interpreting medical history
- Ordering and performing diagnostic tests and procedures
- Prescribing pharmacologic treatments (depends on state regulation)
- Providing screening services
- Some primary and specialty care services for adults and children
- Counseling and educating patients
Education & Experience: Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- NP or PA program degree
- Current valid state medical license
- Board Certified PA or NP
- Hematology / Oncology experience a must!
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or specialty certification as required by department.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
