Leading medical specialty practice with multiple locations is seeking an experienced Senior Group Medical Practice Administrator (Director) in Medford, NY to provide direction and leadership for the practice. Salary DOE $175K - $225K plus bonus possibilities and generous benefits package.

Job Responsibilities: Senior Group Medical Practice Administrator (Director)
- Manages supervisors and directors and oversees all processes and procedures to ensure practice efficiency in all areas including front-desk, scheduling, records management, staffing, H/R, accounting, payroll, IT, EHR, facilities management, A/P, provider recruitment and retention, and billing functions.
- Enhances operational effectiveness, emphasizing cost containment without jeopardizing important innovation or quality of care.
- Except for activities directly related to clinical judgement, oversees the management of administrative and clinical staff, including delegation of work, clarification of responsibilities, provision of regular feedback, coaching and development, and enforcement of company policies and Code of Conduct.
- Performs onsite activities related to recruitment, staffing, onboarding, credentialing, training, compensation, benefits, employee engagement, retention, and performance feedback in collaboration with the directors and managers.
- Oversees and directs the business, operational and financial affairs of the practice; budgeting, expenditures, and authorizations. Works with the shareholder physicians to establish financial and quality care performance metrics, and regularly and accurately reports on key performance indicators.
- Leads business development and marketing efforts for practice, participating in efforts to increase patient referrals, and collaborating with marketing team to promote division’s physicians and services in the region.
- Maintains compliance with related federal, state, and local laws, including Medicare, HIPAA, OSHA, and Labor Laws; responds to requests for information and audits.
- Manages divisional vendor relationships and negotiates contracts.
- Ensures maintenance of the physical buildings, including routine servicing of equipment, provision of supplies, storage, inspections and upkeep of the facilities and equipment.
- Communicates regularly with other division leaders, representing the groups needs and participating in corporate-wide projects and committees.
- Maintains visible positive regular presence in all offices, and productive relationships with physicians, staff, and patients.
- Consults with IT for software changes, upgrades, etc. to drive process improvement and to conform to changing healthcare billing regulations and operating procedures.
- Stays up to date on industry trends and acts as a subject matter expert on operational, billing, and financial management issues.
Education and Experience: Senior Group Medical Practice Administrator (Director)
- MBA or MHA is preferred but BBA or other healthcare management credentials with right amount of experience will be considered
- Five (5) years experience in operations management preferred
